About us

We're problem solvers revolutionizing the footwear industry.

What we do

We make breakthrough footwear that is distinct, comfortable, and made from plants not petrochemicals or animals. This minimizes our environmental impact. We were founded in 2018 and are based in Brooklyn, NY.

Why we do it

Our Founder and CEO Dave started the company to inspire progress in the fight against climate change by making footwear a force for good. We want to put a dent in climate change and environmental degradation. We choose footwear as our vehicle because it’s the most carbon intensive component of our daily wardrobe. Big journeys start with simple steps, and we hope to inspire others who seek progress over perfection, for themselves and for our planet.

How we do it

We make progress by creating visually distinct footwear that showcases a strong sustainability ethos. We seek to perpetually improve the sustainability of our shoes by pioneering new applications of natural materials and forging new manufacturing processes at scale.
